The inspiration for our soy candle company was Co-owner, April, who's mother lost her battle to Leukemia 16 years ago. The oncologist caring for Mrs Ryan said she couldn't burn anything but soy candles during her illness

Almost 2 decades ago finding a soy candle was almost nonexistent. Now, 16 years later, JARE Candles is one of the leaders in the soy candle industry.

Jare Candles can be purchased on our website at jarecandles.com or you can purchase them in the DC area at Mahogany Books. In Charlottesville, Virginia at Lynne Goldman elements on Main Street. In Baltimore, Maryland at Vinyls N Pages and Couples Tea in the 400 block of N. Howard St. in downtown Baltimore. Also, in Baltimore City, JARE Candles can be purchased at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum.

Many of you purchased a JARE Candle for yourself or as a gift. We have heard from you through your reviews and your comments. Keep the communication coming. We hear you! The response is overwhelming and we thank you for the continued support that rivals some of the leaders in the candle and home fragrance industry.

Our candles cross every line from gender to race and community. This summer we met so many people at Pop up shop events in Baltimore and Washington DC. The JARE community grew with hundreds of satisfied JARE Candle customers. From Baltimore county, to Baltimore City to the National Harbor we met you. And then in a few days we are headed to Martha's Vineyard at Cousen Rose Gallery on August 2, 2023. Keep coming and bringing friends to this experience called JARE Candles.

Also, at the beginning of the summer JARE Candles was hand selected by the NAACP to create a custom label for hundreds of our candles to be given to attendees at the 56th annual Image Awards in Los Angeles, California

Needless to say, this has been a busy year that's just getting busier. We thank you for being on the ground level of this JARE Candles journey.
