Our Story
April Ryan and James Ewing created JARE Candles, an exquisite line of hand-poured soy blended candles mixed with fragrance and natural oils that are delectable scents guaranteed to transform the feeling in any space -home or office and beyond.
The love of soy-based candles is an ode to April's late mother, Vivian who lost her battle to leukemia. The doctor's informed the family that only soy-based candles could be burned in the home to aid in her mom's health. James is a candle making creative -- both enjoy creating and experimenting.

Candle Care & FAQs
What is the burn time?
Our candles are hand-poured with premium soy wax and typically burn for 40-50 hours, depending on the size and wick trimming. For best results, trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use.
How should I care for my candle?
To maximize burn time and scent throw: Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. Allow the wax to melt completely across the top on the first burn (about 2-3 hours). Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep away from drafts and direct sunlight.
