Peppermint Patty Holiday Candle

Peppermint Patty is the first properly cold morning of the season in candle form — the bright snap of peppermint, and then something much warmer waiting underneath it.

Fresh peppermint opens clean and cool, before dark chocolate and vanilla cream settle into the heart. Sugar crystals and a soft cool musk round out the base, and that base is what keeps the whole thing from tipping into candy — it lands closer to the first bite of a peppermint patty than to a dessert table.

It's the one for a kitchen in mid-December, a wrapping station at eleven at night, or a guest room that needs to feel like somewhere people want to stay a while. Bright enough to wake a room up, warm enough to keep everyone in it.
